Thank you to all who attended Mass at Good Shepherd parish in San Diego on Saturday, April 26, and who joined in the rosary procession at Family Planning Associates abortion mill, just two miles away.
Mass was celebrated by San Diego Auxiliary Bishop Salvatore Cordileone, and concelebrated by Good Shepherd pastor Fr. Michael Robinson and Fr. Joseph Tabigue of Our Lady of the Rosary. Prayer warriors walked in procession a few blocks to the front of the mill, bringing Our Lady of Fatima to its new location on Miramar Road. A total of 110 people, including three sidewalk counselors, prayed the Rosary, led by Bishop Cordileone and Fr. Tabigue.
Before the group arrived, a young Filipino couple chose life for their unborn child and went home. Later, another woman, accompanied by a girlfriend, came back over to speak with Terry and asked if Dr. Delgado took insurance, etc. The two women spent about twenty minutes in the car talking and then drove away. It was also a relatively slow day for FPA, with 10 to 12 women arriving between 8 a.m. and 11a.m.
Participants prayed the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary, interspersed with hymns following each decade. We paused for a few minutes of silent prayer following the Sorrowful Mysteries. Two men held a large banner that read, “We are praying for an end to abortion” facing the constant traffic on Miramar Road.
The Goretti Group generously donated a relic of St. Maria Goretti to be carried throughout the procession and Rosary. This was a powerful morning of prayer that has brought more graces to this death center.
Today, Wednesday, April 30, was one of the slowest mornings we’ve seen there, with seven or eight women coming to FPA. One of those, a couple in their 30s with a baby in the back seat, left to make an appointment at Culture of Life Family Services.
Many parishioners at Good Shepherd participated on Saturday, and expressed interest in praying at FPA on Wednesdays and Saturdays – the days that babies are slaughtered.
Thank you to Bishop Cordileone, Fr. Tabigue, Fr. Robinson, Kent Peters of the Office for Social Ministry and everyone who helped make this such a beautiful morning of prayer, and to Our Lady of Fatima for continuing to pour out her graces here.

You fail to identify the abortionist. Don't forget to also identify the owner, Irving Feldkamp of Redlands.

Dear Sirs , I am disappointed and dismayed that in this time of high technology and education , there are still persons in a position of authority who cannot see that a "Fetus" is a baby human being ! - The deliberate killing of a human being , except in self defence , is the crime of murder ! Even if these persons in authority , and those who support them , do not accept the existence of God , common decency and common sense ought to dissuade them from passing laws allowing abortion ! If for practical reasons , a woman is not able to keep and care for her baby , there is a long waiting list of couples who are able and eager to adopt .

As much as I wholeheartedly agree and support all efforts against abortion, what has always puzzled me is the use of the term "pro-life' when it comes to describing these activities."Pro-life" is a misnomer, because "pro-life " signifies standing for the protection of ALL life, which many in these groups don't stand for - many condone capital punishment, war, and various other such forms of homicidal violence. "Anti-abortion" would be a more accurate term for these groups, although, and I agree, it just doesn't have quite the positive "ring" to it that "pro-life" does, which is why "pro-life" is used..."anti-" is just not that attractive...

Without war, there would be tremendous evil, from Nazi to Slavery. What a concept, no war! Get a clue.
Regarding capitol punishment, read up on the gruesome beyond pale murder sprees these demons have conducted. It is a difficult call, but, Pro-Life extends to these vile monsters also. We give them free food, room, tv, college, medical...hey, they got it good!
Pro-Life is NOT anti-abortion. Pro-Life is to dignify all human life, although it doesn't mean LOVE THE EVIL THAT LIVES, AND ALLOW THAT EVIL TO FLOURISH.

I know what you are talking about. Miscarriages to a child is exemption to the rule. If the mother dies, so is the child. So both lives are wasted. Capital punishment? That's a no-no. We need to let the offender know what he has done is wrong. Two wrongs ain't right. Plus, death penalty is not just because the offender will have a small time to act as a child of God. Instead, let him be cast out from the society and rehabilitate him in prison so that he can contribute to God's glory as well.
