UCLA-based student group uncovers more evidence of Planned Parenthood covering up statutory rape

MEMPHIS, April 20 /Christian Newswire/ -- A counselor at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Memphis, Tennessee, was caught on hidden camera coaching a 14-year-old girl to lie to a judge so he would not find out about her 31-year-old boyfriend and the girl could obtain a waiver for an abortion without her parents' knowledge.
This is the sixth Planned Parenthood clinic implicated in a developing multi-state child abuse scandal involving the deliberate suppression of evidence of statutory rape.
 Lila Rose, a 20-year-old UCLA student and president of the nonprofit Live Action, entered Planned Parenthood's Memphis Health Center undercover and told a counselor that she was 14 years old, pregnant by her 31-year-old "boyfriend," and needed a secret abortion so her parents would not find out about her sexual relationship with the older man. Tennessee Code 37-1-605 requires health professionals to report suspected cases of sexual abuse of minors to law enforcement immediately.
The Planned Parenthood counselor tells Rose on camera, "Look, if we keep this conversation I'm gonna have to talk to my manager and yeah, [your boyfriend]'s gonna get in trouble," but promises, "I'm not gonna tell anybody, ok?" She adds, "And please don't say that I told you this." When Rose tells the counselor she thinks her boyfriend will get in trouble if her parents find out, the counselor advises Rose to lie about the man's age when speaking to a judge in order to obtain a bypass of Tennessee's parental consent law for abortion: "Don't mention it. Just say you have a boyfriend 17 years old... whatever."
"The Planned Parenthood counselor hears about the abuse, says she should report it, decides to remain silent, then tells me to lie to the judge about 31-year-old man," Rose notes of the video.
The new video marks the fifth in Live Action's "Mona Lisa Project," a nationwide undercover investigation that documents Planned Parenthood's repeated noncompliance with state mandatory reporting laws for sexual abuse of minors. Tennessee is the third state to be implicated in the controversy, along with Arizona and Indiana.
"This is the sixth clinic we have recorded that manipulates the law and covers up sexual abuse,” said Rose. “Planned Parenthood's abortion-first mentality makes it operate as an advocate for terrible crimes against children. What more do authorities need to see before holding this organization accountable for its institutionalized indifference to statutory rape and sexual abuse of children?"

Planned Parenthood has much to answer for, but why have no state regulatory agencies come forward with action against them? It seems to me that there is plenty of culpability there as well, and the citizens of the states where these things have happened need to start holding the government responsible for its dereliction of duty.

What other proof do we need that Planned Parenthood is about their own profits and not about the health, safety, and welfare of the women that they serve?
This is not an isolated incident, this is a pattern of abuse that continues to this day across the country as our young women are deceived by this "well-intentioned" taxpayer funded organization that damages our youth.
It is well past time for regulation of this nefarious organization which, according to the latest statistics released, performs over one fourth of the nation's abortions! In 2007, PP's annual report was 305,310 abortions. This is an increase of 15,000 abortions over the year 2006. Their income is $1.4 billion and a third of it comes from us the taxpayers while their profit is $85 million.
That's deep pockets, folks and it is time to dismantle them with a big fat lawsuit for their harm to minor children. How about it?

I wonder if Planned Parenthood is secretly funneling fed govt money into state coffers or pockets to keep the state and local dogs from sniffing out their illegal activities.

This is all terrible stuff. Any individual, group, business, or institution that molests, rapes, and covers it up should be prosecuted criminally as well as civilly liable, with no statute of limitations.

Ted, I am sure you really know the answer to your question, but in case you don't, here it is: no state agencies have acted against Planned Parenthood because they don' t give a darn about the Rule of Law or the Constitution. Who is most to blame for this sad sitution, the voters and the politically correct Bishops who failed them, that's who.

PPFA is probably the most evil organization on the planet as it is the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing! They are a BILLION dollar corporation with special interest money out the ears! They are the sweet heart of ALL of the Hollywood celebs and the DC liberals. At the same time, their recently revealed "business plan" to optimize profitability is to promote promiscuity and achieve an abortion rate of 3 to 5 abortions per girls before they are 18! This means that they must promote promiscuity to the point where the average girl has 3 to 5 abortions simply for birth control purposes before she is 18! This is the program that is supposed to teach family planning to ALL teenagers!
Is it possible to be more evil? Yet, how many people are willing to point out the truth and kick them out of our schools? This rotten, satanic organization is famous for its lies and distortions. They have openly promoted sexual abuse of young girls, as demonstrated in the recent events. What is most telling is their lack of remorse for the commission of multiple felonies against young girls and the attack of the people that exposed their evil behaviors! Just as you can tell when a person is psychopathic when they demonstrate a total lack of remorse for evil behavior, organizations have a personality and also can be psychopathic.
As the brave women demonstrated, the counselors at PPFA have NO problem violating ALL of the laws designed to protect young women for sexual abuse and rape as well as the laws designed to provide protection from other abuses. They violated the mandated reporter laws as well as the laws protecting them from unscrupulous abortion promoters for out-of-state abortions. At NO time did they provide ANY actual "counseling" or advise them as to other options, such as adoption.
How can any "sane" counselor overlook a 13 year-old that was raped by a 31 year-old man? That is REALLY sick stuff!

God Bless Lila Rose. She is a wonderful beacon of light and truth. May we all be so committed, even after set backs, to keep up the good fight. The other side is no going away anytime soon. We need to find ways to show her videos to the public.

I'm not surprised anymore... the shock is over. Planned Parenthood is evil and they are truly in the business of killing children and misleading souls. They may lie to themselves but their purpose is simply that, they are in the business to kill and mislead.

Again, it is astonishing that PP income is greater than the gross income of the agriculture of the state of California. Even porn is a bigger income producer than food in California. So the public pays more for abortion and porn than for food ... of course PP and porn are nationwide and the comparison here is to only one state's farm products, but the comparison seems staggering to me. It only goes to show that people value murdering babies and addiction to porn and the criminal bloom from it than the food they eat. Just suppose that abortion and porn were snuffed out, and all that discretionary income were diverted into agriculture ... maybe then California tomatoes would improve and not taste like paper mache'.
